What happens if I do not pay my tuition fees on time?
Students run the risk of being removed from their classes due to non-payment of tuition fees and could lose access to their web registration. The assigned seat could be given to another student if there is a waitlist.
Important note: If a student does not pay their tuition fees the finance department could place a financial hold on the student's record.
What happens if I have applied for a student loan?
Student loans are paid directly to the student. If your student loan is approved, the financial aid department will put a notation on your account, and you will not have to pay tuition fees until you receive your loan money.
If you have applied for a student loan, contact financial aid for help with confirmation or to find out how long the process takes.
What happens if I have paid my tuition fees then withdrawal from courses?
If you withdraw from a vocational or academic program within the first two weeks or by the refund deadline (see Important Dates), your charges will be reversed, and you'll get a credit. You can then request a refund, but the deposit is non-refundable.
- If you're sponsored and withdraw within the refund deadline, the payment will be returned to your sponsor.
- For Apprenticeship program withdrawals, contact the trades and apprenticeship office.
- For Continuing Studies program withdrawals, contact the Continuing Studies department.
What if I am sponsored?
You must ensure that 葫芦影业 receives your sponsorship funding letter at least two days before the payment deadline. If we have your sponsorship letter on file, you will not be dropped from your courses and the finance department will invoice your sponsor directly.
All sponsorship letters and documentation should be e-mailed to accountsreceivable@okanagan.bc.ca prior to the fee payment deadline. Your sponsor will then be billed at a later date. For additional information, please contact accounts receivable.
Do I have to pay the extended health and dental fees?
Students who have extended health and dental coverage through another provider can choose to opt out of the 葫芦影业SU health and dental plan. All optouts must be submitted to 葫芦影业SU no later than 30 calendar days after your program鈥檚 start date.
If a student has applied to opt out but it's still being processed, they can pay the total amount owing minus the health and dental fees.
