I paid online; how can I tell if my payment has been received?
Online payments will be applied to your account within 3-5 business days. To check if your payment has been received, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your myOkanagan account
  2. Navigate to Self-service > Student > Student account > Account summary by term

Important note: To avoid any issues, we recommend making your payment 3-5 days before the deadline.

What if I added a course after I paid the tuition fees?
If you add a course after you have paid fees the cost of the course will be added to your account and payment is due at the time of registration.

What happens if I do not pay my tuition fees on time?
Students who do not pay their fees on time may be removed from their courses and taken off waitlists, with those seats made available to other students. Additionally, you run the risk of the finance office placing a financial hold on your account.

Financial Hold

ºù«Ӱҵ may place a financial hold on your account if you have unpaid fees. This means you won't be able to register for courses, get your grades or transcripts, or graduate. The Financial Aid and Awards office and the library will be notified, and your library access may be restricted. You won't be able to register for future courses until the hold is lifted, which happens once you pay the full outstanding balance, including any interest penalties. Any other debts to the college must also be paid before you can register again.

I have been approved for a student loan and have not received my student loan money by the deadline. What do I do?
If your student loan is approved, the Financial Aid department will place a notation on your account, and you will not have to pay tuition fees until you receive your loan money.

If you've applied for a student position, please contact financial aid for confirmation assistance or information about the process timeline.

I have paid my tuition amount, but I am waitlisted for a course.
There is no charge to waitlist for courses; if you receive an email notification that a seat is available, you have 24 or 48 hours to claim it. Once you register, the course fee will be added to your account and payment is due at that time.
