Accessing your 葫芦影业 OneDrive account on lab computers and on the web 

OneDrive is Microsoft鈥檚 cloud storage service that gives you 1 terabyte (TB) of free storage. Save, access, and share your files from any device. It鈥檚 perfect for backing up assignments, collaborating in real-time, and accessing files on the go. Plus, it integrates seamlessly with Microsoft 365 apps like Word and Teams for smooth productivity and secure file management. 

Tip: Use OneDrive鈥檚 AutoSave feature with Microsoft 365 apps like Word and Excel. This ensures your work is automatically saved to the cloud, so you never lose your progress! 

Below are the step-by-step instructions on how to access OneDrive on 葫芦影业 Lab Computers: 

 

Step-by-step instructions to access on lab computers  

Step 1: Log into the lab computer with your myOkanagan email and password.

Step 2: Once logged into the computer, click on the OneDrive icon on the bottom right side of the Window鈥檚 taskbar.

 

Step 3: If you do not see the OneDrive icon, it may be hidden. To view all hidden icons, select the arrow icon on the taskbar.

  • Note: If you don鈥檛 see the OneDrive icon, it hasn鈥檛 loaded yet. To launch it, press the Windows key or select the Windows logo on the taskbar, type 鈥淥neDrive,鈥 and select the app from the search results. 

     

Step 4: Select sign in, enter your Okanagan college email address, then select sign in again. 


Step 5: You will then be prompted for multifactor authentication (MFA). 


Step 6: Now you are logged in. Keep clicking next until you reach the back-up folders on this PC screen. 

Step 7: Wait for the folders to be scanned, then select start backup.


Step 8: Your Okanagan college OneDrive account is now connected to the lab computer. Files saved to the desktop, documents, or pictures folders will automatically upload to OneDrive and be accessible online from any device with an internet connection.

Step 1: Navigate to the OneDrive login page by clicking here. 

Step 2: Sign in using your myOkanagan email and password. 

Step 3: Once signed in, you will be able to upload and download files to and from your computer from OneDrive.
