Refund processing 

If you have a credit on your account due to overpayment, receiving a scholarship, or dropping courses or your program, 葫芦影业 can refund you. Depending on the guidelines, you might get your tuition money back. The Registrar oversees all tuition refunds. Please be aware of the Okanagan college鈥檚 refund policies. 

For academic and vocational programs: 

  • Refunds will not be issued for amounts less than $10.
  • Credits or refunds are issued to the student, regardless of who paid.
  • You are entitled to a full credit, minus the non-refundable, non-transferable deposit, up to the last day of course registration. If you are registered for the next term, this credit will be applied to that term (you will not receive a refund). Students in their last term of study will receive a refund.
  • Students who withdraw after the last day of course registration will not receive any tuition credit or refund. 

 

Step-by-step instructions 

All refunds are requested by logging into your myOkanagan account and selecting the 鈥淪tudent鈥 tab. 

Step 1: Select 鈥淪tudent鈥 tab  

Step 2: Select 鈥淢y useful links鈥 and click 鈥淪tudent forms鈥 

Step 3: Open the 鈥淪tudent refund request鈥 form 

Step 4: Fill out all required fields and click 鈥淪ubmit鈥  

Please allow 4-6 weeks for your refund to be processed.

Is the deposit that I paid refundable if I no longer want to attend the program? 
No, to accept an offer of admission to most programs, you are required to pay a non-refundable tuition deposit. You can also refer to the Okanagan college calendar.  

I paid $10 for my official transcripts, and they were never delivered. Can I get my money back? 
All transcripts are requested through your myOkanagan account and are printed the next business day.  All transcripts are sent via Canada Post regular mail. If 葫芦影业 has already processed and mailed your transcript, the payment is non-refundable. If you need another copy, you鈥檒l have to submit a new request and pay the transcript fee again. 

How long does it take to get refunded? 
Once enrollment has stabilized, we鈥檒l begin reviewing refund requests. Please allow at least 4 weeks for the finance department to process your refund. 

My account shows that I have been refunded but I never received the payment.  
Domestic students have two options for receiving refunds: a cheque in the mail or an e-transfer through Paymytuition.com.  

I am an international student and have requested a refund. How will I be reimbursed? 
The International department has partnered with Paymytuition.com. For information or concerns about receiving your refund, please contact the International Department.

My program is with Continuing studies. How can I request a refund? 
For refund requests in Continuing studies, log into your myOkanagan account and navigate to 鈥淢y useful links鈥 > Student forms > Continuing studies certificate program withdrawal form.
