Academic Fees
Fees for Distance Education courses are based on the same per-billing credit fees as charged for on-campus delivery)plus ºù«ӰҵDF (ºù«Ӱҵ Development Fee), ETF (Educational Technology Fee), DE Admin Fee and GST on DE Admin Fee.
International students should refer to the International estimated cost page and use the Cost calculator to estimate the total cost of their program. Please contact the ºù«Ӱҵ International Education office if you require more information.

Obtaining course materials

Tutor information
Contacting your tutor:
The tutors are an integral part of the Distance Education structure. Each course is assigned a tutor who is experienced in the pertinent program area. Distance Education courses are designed for independent learning (although group work may be required in some courses). The role of the tutor is to assist you during your course and mark your assignments and exams.
After the commencement of your course, you are welcome to contact your tutor. Contact information can be found in Moodle.
Statutory holidays:
Tutors receive statutory holidays and will not be available on these days. There is a one-week break during the Winter holidays.
Assignments, guidelines and course content:
Inquiries regarding assignment dates and course content should be directed to your tutor. Directions for submitting assignments will be included in Moodle.

Existing and Returning Students.
Existing and returning Students will log in using their ºù«Ӱҵ email address (example firstname.lastname@myokanagan.bc.ca)
Students who have not reset their password since Feb 2023 will be required to do so before they will be able to log into any ºù«Ӱҵ website.

New Students
New Students will receive an email from IT Security with their ºù«Ӱҵ Student account information. *Please be sure to check your spam folder*
Once logged in, please follow the prompts to set your new password and set up verification methods for Multi-Factor Authentication.
Please allow up to 2 hours for your account to become available.
Logging into: Moodle
To access Moodle, students can login to Moodle using: . Use your student email address (generally firstname.lastname@myokanagan.bc.ca) and current password to sign in.
Logging into: myOkanagan email
Visit and login using your MyOkanagan email address which is normally firstname.lastname@myokanagan.bc.ca and current password.
