Research Assistant Funding Applications Now Open!
Applied Research is excited to introduce a revamped Research Assistant (RA) Fund designed to promote access to research support across the institution. Previously this program was part of StudentWorks hosted by Student Services. This fund aims to assist researchers with the costs of hiring research assistants not covered by other grants or funding. This fund is available to any ºù«Ӱҵ employee currently engaged in a research project.
To qualify for funding, the project should:
- Be a defined research project (contact Applied Research if you have questions)
- Provide an ºù«Ӱҵ student with an opportunity to engage meaningfully in a research project.
Funding Parameters:
- 50 RA hours per application
- Two intakes per year (May and August)
- 14 projects approved per intake
Application Deadline:
- Deadline to submit applications: May 15, 2025
